Elaine Barton was born on May 10, 1930, in New York City, NY. She is the daughter of Anne and Ben Barton. Elaine was born into a large family including a brother, four sisters, and 2 half sisters. She had two sons and 5 grandchildren. Unfortunately at age 80 she passed just 2 months shy of the birth of her great grandson. Elaine always put family first and cared deeply for all within her immediate and extended family. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. Please allow me to express a warm heart-felt thank you to all of you that remembered Elaine. All of your kind thoughts, memories, pictures and sweet stories that you have gracefully provided are for the remembrance of Elaine, but also as caring people and family it’s the special way we share and support those that we’re close to, and that we care about. It’s those friends and family that are still saddened by Elaine’s passing and thirsty to be made aware of, or reminded of a cherished memory; those needing to feel the presence of Elaine's life and spirit by reminiscing as we make our way through the pages of this humble tribute, that we do honor for our dear Elaine, Mom, Lainie, Grandma Lainie, in this manner.
